The Sharpe Family began business as Sharpe’s Garage in Cessnock NSW in 1953. Originally a repair garage, the company began selling and servicing Cars, Tractors and Machinery in 1953.

In 1975 Sharpe’s became John Deere Dealers. During 1984 Sharpe’s opened a new Dealership in Rutherford (Maitland) which is head office for Sharpe’s Tractor Centre. We operate another Dealership in Taree offering a full range of Tractors, Commercial and Residential grounds care equipment, parts and service. Today, the Company is managed by John Sharpe. The founder Les Sharpe still takes an active roll in the day to day running of the Dealership.

Sharpes are franchised for John Deere Residential Mowing Equipment, Compact Tractors, Commercial Out-Front Mowers, Gator Utility Vehicles, 5000, 6000 & 7000 series Tractors, Hay Making Equipment and Golf & Turf.

Throughout the years we have endeavoured to “excel in meeting customer needs”. This ongoing practice has resulted in the growth of our business. A business we are proud to call our own.
